Cisco IOS DHCP doc leaves something to be desired…

I have never done static DHCP on an IOS platform before.  You all might find this amazing but I really do not do much IOS based DHCP.  I will go as far as to say that the only time I do use it is on my SRST gateways that provide DHCP for my site phones. Oh TCP port 2000…where art thou…

Way back in the day Cisco had a bug, we are talking code 12.1, that prevented port 2000 from being NATed.  The bug was long thought to be fixed, but I found it again a few days ago in 12.4(24)T2 running on a Cisco 2801 at a customer site.  Said customer had a security camera system installed that had a centralized DVR.  They wanted to be able to view the DVR output both internally and externally.
